Being able to walk comfortably has added to my quality of life. The orthotics have been great for years, one pair for walking and one pair for dressier shoes. Then recently, my left started being achy. Edith adjusted that orthotics and voila! My feet again feel great! She’s the best!

My feet have been bothering me for quite some time. I still work parttime and decided to book a foot and shoe assessment with Edith. I learned so much about my feet and legs! While I may have chosen this or that, Edith guided me to try on several pairs that proved to feel so much better! After a month in the new footwear (walking shoes, boots, “house” shoes, and cute short boots), my feet feel great and I don’t want to wear my other shoes! At 68, I need comfort more than fashion, which I have plenty of! And truthfully, these styles I probably would not have asked for! Yet I am delighted with my new “feel great” shoe wardrobe! She is so worth it!

I had a episode of foot pain and was looking for solutions when I met Edith, a Pedorthist. She looked at my old orthotics and advised that they were no longer helping me. She was able to adapt and add onto my old orthotics to improve the alignment of my feet, calves, and upper thigh bones. Edith took molds of my feet, using her body and upper body strength to change my foot position to the ideal alignment. She was very knowledgeable about ow to adapt the mold for the best fit and position. I was very grateful for her attention.
Once my orthotics were fabricated, I made and appointment to try them on. Edidth was able to see whether or not my feet and leg bones were properly aligned. She made several modifications as she felt needed for proper alignment. We made an appointment for a month later so I had time to wear and use before finalizing the orthotics.
I go to a massage therapist every 2-3 weeks. She told me that my muscles were more relaxed, and were not as lmpy/full of knots as they usually are. I’ve had Fibromayalgia for over 30 years. My massages are usually very painful to tolerate and require my therapist to work very hard to get my muscles to relax. The therapist was amazed at the positive changes in the muscle tone in my legs and buttocks. She told me that my muscles seemed significantly more relaxed than usual, almost like a normal muscle should feel.
When I returned to get the orthotics finalized, Edith noted another area of my right foot that needed additional support. I’ve had several pairs of orthotics made in the past. Edith is the only orthotist that I’ve worked with that was determined to make sure my foot and leg bones were in proper alignment. She definitely went above and beyond what other orthotists have done in the past.
Edith is going to make a second, thinner pair for my dressier shoes so I can wear orthotics to church.
I am grateful for the dedication, knowledge, and expertise that Edith brings to each and every client!
